Stærebogårds Ajour

Alligator Fontaine/Come Back II/Castro

Ajour is my youngster born 2008. He is such a fantastic horse, and he has just returned home on stable after being broken by Shane Mosele. Shane is a horse-whisperer-guy, and he works great with the horses. After just 30 minutes with Ajour, he was on top of him. When I was there to visit those two first time, Shane just pulled in Ajour from the field to the riding hall, brushed him a bit – and jumped up. Without saddle, bridle .. nothing!

Shane was not going to educate Ajour, as that is not his thing. He “just” made my kid completely tame, and ready to go. I’m really excited about getting him started, and our goal for 2012 is to successfully compete the lowest educational level (eventing) from August (when he’s allowed to compete according to the Danish Federation’s rules).

I’ve known him since he was born, and I love him so, so much. Hopefully he will be my top-eventer to take over from Karry when she is going to retire. It will bring a lot of exiting challenges to be with him every day and to learn him everything from the beginning. Lots of hard work will – fingers crossed – shape him into a fantastic 3* and 4* horse.

He is such a personality! Oh and by the way are we hoping to buy his half-little sister, Stærebogårds Perfect, which is – yes – perfect! Simply a little princess. Picture of her underneath.

    Oh, he is VERY nice. What is he, a Danish warmblood? He is LOVELY!

    I liked your video on him (but not the music..sorrrrrrry) you have him in a very nice and balanced frame. He looks like he’s listening to you.
    Good luck!

      Yes, he is!:=)
      And thank you so much – he’s really learning fast, great little boy. The music was pretty much because his dad is Alligator Fontaine, the lyrics say “my daddy was a DJ” – and there’s a very famous DJ called DJ Alligator;=)
